Jasmine by Takamine guitars, how do they line up with other guitars?

Im looking to buy a new acoustic electric guitar, and to make a long story short i was going to go with a brand i know more about (probably an ibanez because i have never played one i didnt like), but one day my dad throws a magazine down in front of me and says i can get these through work for a lower price. So i start looking through the magazine, inside was Takamine and Jasmine by Takamine, i have heard of these guitars but i have never played one. The guitar i was looking at was a ES450C in charcoal and had a suggested retail of 600 dollars, so it is not one of the cheepies (those were also listed in the magazine). So i was just wondering how they are on the playability, tone and other aspects. And if someone could even tell me something about the height of the action on these guitars i would be even happier.

They are pretty good guitars about average if taken care of will last a lifetime
Reply:I've never found a Jasmine that didn't feel and sound good. I almost bought the Jasmine acoustic bass a few years ago (didn't quite have the money). It has great pickups as well.
