I live on Vancouver Island, where the weather is rather mild, my jasmine are starting to get leaves, but the roots are coming out the top, they need to move, but not sure if I should do it now, or wait till they are fully covered with leaves. Any thoughts?
When would be the best time to transplant my jasmine plants? They need to be moved to bigger pots.?
Jasmines need plenty of time to grow and it should be done during the "rainy season" when it hasn't gotten too hot yet. Cut them back a bit, transplant, and fertilize weekly with soluble plant food until they start to grow back.
Reply:Do it now, while they are semi-dormant.
