Growing jasmine?

Hey,

I was wondering if i can grow Jasmine in a pot or something over ground. I live in an apartment and i can't plant things in the ground. I really want to grow jasmine but I don't want to waste my money on it if it won't grow in a pot.

Also, Where can i get it? Approximate cost? Is there anything else that i need for it?

Can you please help me out. Jasmine is something that reminds me of home. I would really love to grow it!

Thank You!

Growing jasmine?
Jasmine is a prolific plant and would do very well in a pot. Make sure you put something in the pot with the plant so that it can climb (Jasmine is a vine) and give it partial sun to full sun, Jasmine does not do well in the shade only. So unless your thumb is exceptionally brown (as in the opposite of a green thumb) you should do just fine. You can buy it at Lowes, Home Depot, any garden center or nursery.
Reply:Jasmine will grow in a pot; I'm in an apartment too, and I have to deal with the same issues. Try Park Seed Company - they've been around forever. I've also seen jasmine plants available on eBay.
Reply:I had a potted jasmine plant in my kitchen for several years and got it at my local garden store. Oh the scent was lovely.
Reply:go to an buy some, the sale person, will answer all of your Question.
Reply:my aunt is from thailand and she grows jasmine in a pot.
Reply:I do know that you have to water Jasmin ever other day.
