My Jasmine plant was dying and some of the stalks died. I put it outside and the one remaining stalk is fourishing, how do I "spread the wealth"? Also any other care tips would be greatly appreciated.
How do you reproduce Jasmine plants? Is it like vines where you cut at a node and plant, or is there seeds?
I suggest you layer it. ie. place one of the tendrils on the ground, cover it with soil and place a brick or rock on it to hold it in place. Nip off the growing end. Keep it moist and you will find it will produce roots from the leaf joints. Once it has rooted, separate it from the parent plant.

Beauty and the Geek ? Jasmine?
What ethnicity is Jasmine?
Beauty and the Geek ? Jasmine?
she said she's half french and half black on the show.
Reply:I don't know, they never said and its hard to tell with her... she's of a darker skin but she doesn't seem to reflect any one ethnicity...

How would you write "jasmine" in kanji?
i'm planning of getting a tattoo of the name "jasmine". how would you write that name in kanji?
i already have the katakana for it: ジャスミン
(for japanese speakers only!)
How would you write "jasmine" in kanji?
Strange to say, Japanese commonly uses the word "jasumin' written in katakana, as you have it above, for jasmine. However, it can be written in kanji as 茉莉, pronounced matsuri. .
Reply:茉
Reply:if you are looking for the japanese word for jasmine (like the flower) you can use 茉莉 (matsuri) or just the kanji or just 茉 which carries the meaning of jasmine. i think it is more popular to use the katakana for it though. but if you want the kanji to only SOUND like the name jasmine in english, you can pick any kanji you want to make up the name as long as they carry the right sounds/readings. Make sure to know the meaning of the kanji though. You don't want it to sound like JAZUMIN but then have some ugly meaning when you read it.

What other plants compliment jasmine?
I just planted small sized star Jasmine and was told they are slow growing so l am looking for other plants to add so my garden does not look so bare
What other plants compliment jasmine?
Philodendrons, most ferns, birds of paradise, the list goes on and on. But those are the ones I ended up using with my star jasmine. The Jasmine will double or triple in volume in about a year, the plants you put around them will maintain a slow growth rate as well.
Best of luck!!!
Reply:I have a butterfly vine planted next to my jasmine the mixed really well and gives a variety of color.
Reply:with star jasmine being a fragrant plant, some other choices with fragrance are bogenievilla, moonflower, night blooming jasmine and coreposis.

The Gaelic spelling for Jasmine??
My daughter would like a celtic knot tattoo with her name around it on her left wrist, but she's afraid it will not fit in with the kongi symbol on her right wrist.
Is there anyone here who can give me the gaelic translation of Jazmin (the flower Jasmine) to help her out with her design??? (if there is one)
Thank you
The Gaelic spelling for Jasmine??
There is no real Irish Gaelic translation for Jasmine.
The "made up" translation is "seasmaine".
Its not exactly real Irish though, the Irish government translates all its documents into Irish and if they need to translate a word that doesnt exist in Irish they will create a new Irish sounding version which is what "seasmaine" so i dont think many Irish people would recognise it as an Irish word.
She might like to consider using Bláth which means flower.

I have this pink jasmine plant growing in my yard. Its small about 3 feet tall. It was beautiful and blloming liek crazy, but it suddenly stopped. the others around the neighborhood havent. Its still growing though. new leaves lately. what could be wrong with my plant?
Why has my pink jasmine stopped blooming??
try a product like super-bloom, just may be a micro-climate situation.( to much sun or not enough). in most cases jasmine blooms in the spring time.
Reply:because it is dieing for some reason!
